SolaTV 1.8

• Settings are grouped into sections: Launcher, Look, Discover, TV, Network and search, About.
• Choose how the focused tile is marked: a bar along the bottom, as before, or a white frame around it that stands out on any banner (Settings → Look → Focus highlight).
• Tile size: normal, large or extra large. The row on Home gets bigger; All apps shows 5, 4 or 3 tiles per row.
• Smooth focus: the focused tile grows smoothly (off by default).
• Sleep timer: press OK on the clock on Home — from 15 minutes to 2 hours. The clock shows the time left; a minute before the end a warning appears, and OK adds 30 minutes. SolaTV can turn the device off when it is the default launcher.
• The VPN shield turns green whenever a VPN is on, even if it routes only some apps.
• The status bar adapts to the space: when it's tight, the inputs, VPN and search icons hide.

• App icons no longer flicker when switching screens.
• Posters reload by themselves if they didn't arrive the first time.
• App menu (hold OK): "Move" to arrange Home your way, "Hide" to remove clutter. Hidden apps come back in Settings → Hidden apps.
• Search now also looks inside installed apps — Kinopoisk, NUM, Lampa and others with open search.
• The remote's microphone button can open SolaTV search: Settings → Search → "Microphone → SolaTV" (Google TV, SolaTV as the default launcher).
• The TV playlist can be loaded as a file: "From phone" → "Choose a file".
• Channel archive supports more provider formats (catchup, Flussonic, Xtream).
• SolaTV reopens by itself after an update.

• TV from your M3U playlist: groups, TV guide, catch-up for up to 7 days, rewind.
• Voice and keyboard search: movies and series, your channels and shows; typing from your phone via a QR code.
• Default launcher in one step: on Google TV via accessibility, without disabling system apps; Restore anytime.
• Updates right from SolaTV: when a new version is out, the gear on the home screen turns orange and settings show "Update to …" at the top; the file is checked by its checksum, settings, playlist and the default launcher are kept.
• DNS block bypass for posters and collections.
• HDMI inputs, Recent apps on double Home, weather, VPN icon, your own accent color.
• Android 8.0 and newer, any processor; English and Russian.
